Jumping Off The Ivory Tower

A brand identity for a podcast hosted by Prof. Julie Macfarlane and Dayna Cornwall about social justice and self representation in the legal system. The podcast is available on iTunes and Soundcloud.

The approach was to create a simple yet versatile logo and brand that would be legible on screens and multiple digital platforms. It had to represent education, law, and sometimes handle controversial topics in a professional way. Working closely together to understand what Julie and Dayna wanted to achieve, we were able to create a reliable and consistent identity pack, with multiple uses of the logo and logotype that would see them through beyond the podcast.

We are thrilled with Jagjit’s work - he was able to take vague statements about our podcast and translate them into the perfect visual representation. He was a pleasure to work with, being both responsive and thoughtful, and able to take our suggestions and massage them into a beautiful, effective design. He also went above and beyond, providing us with many more useful files than we expected. We came to him looking for one simple logo, and he gave us a whole branded package. We would happily work with him again, and would highly recommend him for his artistry and skill, as well as for his professionalism.
